We Are Womxn and BlackNorth Initiative Partnership 2021

We Are Womxn (WAW!) and BlackNorth Initiative have partnered to help end systemic anti-Black racism in the food and beverage industry in Canada by empowering young Black womxn to see themselves as successful entrepreneurs and to offer them the tools to start them on their journey.

We Are Womxn is the next chapter for Womxn Supporting Womxn In Food: an interview series with mentorship and grant opportunities for womxn in Canada that was created in April 2020. More than 40 womxn were spotlighted with over 40% BIWOC representation.
